An effective protection

The Aquapac bag has a waterproof grommet for the tubing. The cover is waterproof and has watertight welds for complete protection of the equipment (see video at the bottom of the page).

It protects the insulin pump from water splashes as well as dust and sand, making it ideal for protecting your children's pump on the beach.

It is also suitable for adult activities such as sailing.

CAUTION: The cover is intended for surface use. It is not recommended to immerse it.

PROVEN EFFECTIVENESS

At the request of users, Aquapac commissioned the University of Imperial College London to study the compatibility of the 558 covers with an insulin pump. It was found that in some circumstances, the insulin flow rate can be reduced, especially when low flow rates are prescribed.

The use of the Aquapac cover with an insulin pump is entirely at the discretion of the user. It is recommended that users of the Aquapac cover with an insulin pump check their blood glucose levels regularly.
